At Sex Stories City we would like to re-invent the thinking on how to organize sex stories. What you see today is only the beginning of the building of a powerful platform for the writing of erotica, but already now we believe we do have the internet's most effective way of attaching meta-data to your sex story.
As of today we do have a well functioning tagging system, categories and the possibility to add participants to a story. Everything in a well structured manner, so that future versions of Sex Stories City could benefit from the meta-data entered by authors. Our mission is to continue this development, and we will continously adding new features that aid writers to find their public.
Therefore we urge our authors to read through this document, to fully be able to use the Sex Stories City platform. Compared to writing a good story, you will find that using our tools to add the important and interesting meta-data to your stories will be the easy part.
You MUST choose one category for your sex story. Each story can only belong to one category. When choosing the right category, think of the storys main theme. Sometimes two categories are equally good, and it can be hard to choose - but don't worry, categories are only one feature among other readers will use to find your story.
If a story contains such elements, it must be placed in the respective category above even if it isn't the main theme of the story. Stories in these categories are for members only, therefore only for those who deliberately has choosen to read them.
Stories between women. Female homosexual sex where two or more participants are involved. If there is female groupsex, place in lesbian category instead of group sex.
Stories between men. Male homosexual sex where two or more participants are involved. If there is male groupsex, place in this gay sex category instead of group sex.
Stories with roleplaying themes in which an individual acts and/or treats another as if they were a different age, or for stories where there is big age difference between the participants.
Stories between two or more individuals who use their experiences of pain and power to create sexual tension, pleasure, and release. BDSM, is derived from the terms bondage and discipline, dominance and submission, sadism and masochism.
Stories with watersports, urinal sex, pissing and pee.
Stories with themes of weird sexual fetishes. Extreme fetish stories are for the bizarre category.
Stories where the main theme is teenagers having sex. If there's a mix of ages, e.g. an older man having sex with a teenage girl, the story might better suit the category ageplay.
Stories where the individuals, behaviors, and groups involving tendencies varies from the usual gender roles, e.g a story about a man that dresses up in women clothes.
Stories where the main theme is a fantasy type of situtation.
Stories where individuals who are closely related is involved in sexual actions with each other. Stories containing elements of incest should never be placed in the open categories.
For stories where on or more participants are under the age of 13, even if this is not the main theme of the story. Stories containing elements of pre-teen should never be placed in the open categories.
Stories with sexual related violence that is non-consensual. For consensual violence, BDSM might be the better choice. Stories containing elements of severe violence should never be placed in the open categories.
Stories which contains rape. Rape is always non-consensual and against the law. Stories containing elements of rape should never be placed in the open categories.
Stories which contains sex between humans and non-human animals. Zoophilia, zoosexuality or bestiality. Stories containing elements of sex between humans and animals should never be placed in the open categories.
Stories with themes of extreme and weird sexual fetishes. Stories containing elements of bizarre should never be placed in the open categories.
Tags are a wonderful way of telling the readers what to expect from your sex story. Some readers are looking for specific kind of stories, and would like to read eg about "first time sex" or "dominant females".
Most of the tags are self-explaining, but a few of the craves an explanation. When tagging the story, hoover with the mouse over a tag for a description.
In future versions of Sex Stories City, the tag system will play a major role when readers is searching and filtering stories. So it's definitely a good investment to tag your story, if you would like to have a maximum audience.
You can help your readers to know what to expect from your story, by adding a description of the participants involved. Some readers have specific interests, and by adding participants you help them to find your story. Think how easy it would be to find that story where and adult woman is having sex with a teen boy!
All participants are not mentioned by name in the story, and you should feel free to instead use general descriptions, such a Doctor, Stranger, Plumber, Guy, Girl, Horse etc. Use your imagination!
You can add a maximum of ten participants, but advisably it would be enough to add 1-5. In gang type of situations, it could be better to add multiple participants as one and call them eg "Gang of school boys", "Strangers in the park".
For each participant added you must specify an age and an sexual orientation. Sometimes this is not apparent in the story itself, but you as an author do know all about the participants, don't you?
See this as guidelines and not an absolute truth, because the definitions seems to vary among the readers.
